Live to serve

12 When Jesus had washed their feet and put on His robe, He reclined [b] again and said to them, "Do you know what I have done for you? 13 You call Me Teacher and Lord. This is well said, for I am. 14 So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. (M) 15 For I have given you an example (N) that you also should do just as I have done for you.

The Lord at work

The Lord is testing all of us with all of the things going on in the world. Put your trust in him and your fear behind you.

Who is running these companies?

With the recent failures on Wall Street and AIG, etc., it makes me wonder if there should be criminal charges brought about against the CEO's. You know they are taking their millions and running, leaving everyone else to fend for themselves. I understand risk taking, but how could these old school companies get this out of whack? Do we need more regulation? I doubt it. If the taxpayers are going to own these companies, then I want a say in how they are operated. That's my 2 cents for today.

Does anyone get it?

As we look at the slate of presidential candidates, both Democrat and Republican, it's more than a little unsettling. From Obama dancing on the Ellen show, to Ron Paul's rants and raves, no one really impresses me. Where are the statesmen/women who can step up and lead this country? I thought Huckabee may be the one, but I heard Laura Ingraham out him on several issues, including immigration, where I totally differ from his views. But he knows how to charm an audience.
